Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
Indrė is an IAAP-certified Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) who audits, designs, and develops accessible digital platforms. She draws on more than eight years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design expertise, as well as her extensive knowledge of digital solution development, to ensure every aspect of a digital business complies with the latest EU regulations and meets the needs of the accessibility market.
Experience with standards
- EN 301 549: European standard for digital accessibility, applicable to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products and services.
- Web Accessibility Directive (WAD): A legal directive in the EU, which enforces accessibility compliance for public sector websites and mobile apps, based on WCAG standards.
- European Accessibility Act (EAA): A broader legal framework establishing accessibility requirements for various products and services across both private and public sectors in the EU.
