We’re beyond excited to share some fantastic news! Our Co-Founder and Lead Accessibility Specialist, Indre Karlove, has become the first in Lithuania to earn the Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). This achievement reflects Indre's deep passion for inclusive design and broad expertise, reaffirming June/Karlove’s status as a go-to partner for robust audits, reliable compliance reports, and truly inclusive digital solutions.
Who We Are at June/Karlove
Formerly known as VJS Agency, June/Karlove began over a decade ago as a boutique design, branding, and web development company. Our first venture into accessibility happened about three years ago when a client asked us to ensure their website was accessible. We discovered that true accessibility goes far beyond overlays or simple fixes—it demands a deep understanding of rigorous standards, laws, and guidelines. That moment sparked our curiosity, driving us to learn everything we could about digital accessibility.
Today, we’re proud to serve as a consulting partner to both private and public organizations—including the National Agency for Education (Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania), Vilnius City Municipality, the Office of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Telia Company AB, Telia Lietuva, EdTech Centras, Kaunas University of Technology, and more. We pioneered rigorous accessibility evaluations and developed an internal certification system (Accessibility Registry) for our own projects. As a result, we’ve helped numerous organizations across Lithuania—and beyond—embrace, implement, and truly appreciate the essence of accessibility.
