Creating a user-friendly e-commerce website for company specializing in renewable energy products
BaltSolar is a Lithuanian company engaged in the wholesale trade of renewable energy products, including solar power plants, car charging stations, energy storage systems, and others. The company focuses on providing high-quality products and education to its partners and customers, with a goal of increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and increasing sales.
BaltSolar contacted our design agency with a need to create an e-commerce website that would allow their customers, including solar power plant installers, builders, and electricians, to easily navigate and search for products and request pricing information. The website needed to be user-friendly, with a clean, minimalist design that reflected the brand's identity and values. In addition, the website needed to support multiple languages.
Research and Visual Concept
Our design agency worked closely with BaltSolar to create a custom e-commerce website that met all of their requirements. We began by conducting a thorough analysis of their target audience and competitors, identifying key design elements and functionalities that would be most effective in achieving their goals.
Website Design
We then created a custom design that reflected the brand's values and identity, using a minimalist approach with white and light blue colors to convey a clean, modern feel. The website was designed to be user-friendly, with clear navigation and search functionality that made it easy for customers to find the products they needed.
We have implemented a multilingual feature that allowed users to switch between Lithuanian and English languages.
Request a Quote Functionality
We also implemented a "request a price" feature for cart items, which allowed customers to easily request a customized pricing information before making a purchase.
Powerful Product Filter
In addition to the features mentioned above, we also implemented a powerful product filter that allowed users to easily narrow down their search based on various criteria. The filter included options to sort products by category, measurement type, manufacturer, and availability in warehouses.
To further enhance usability, we also included a search function within the filter, allowing users to quickly find the exact products they needed.
The Result
The end result was a custom e-commerce website that met all of BaltSolar's requirements, allowing them to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and increase sales.
