Redesigning the visual identity for multiple restaurants by Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius
In the center of Vilnius Old Town, Restaurant Telegrafas is the place for those seeking an elegant dining atmosphere with incredible European gastronomy, offering a subtle balance between history and modernity with a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the picturesque Vilnius Cathedral Square.
The stylish Dukes Gastrobar complements the refined and elegant Telegrafas restaurant. The quiet, relaxing environment surrounds guests who want to taste a variety of dishes created by the professional team of Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius.
We worked on a modern, minimalist and elegant logo design for the Telegrafas restaurant and Dukes gastrobar by Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius. Located in Vilnius city center, capital of Lithuania.
TELEGRAFAS Re-Branding
The restaurant and gastrobar were renovated to create a more welcoming and elevated space for visitors. As a result, the client decided to redesign the logos and visual aspects of the brands. The aim was to strike a balance between history and modernity and create a welcoming, approachable, and knowledgeable brand.
TELEGRAFAS Logo Design
The old Telegrafas wordmark was outdated, so a new combination mark of symbol/monogram and wordmark with a modern serif font was designed. The color palette was inspired by the interior tones, resulting in a more subtle and modern reflection of the elegant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere.
DUKES Logo Design
As the bar underwent a transformation and took on the name "DUKES Gastrobar," a new visual identity was created in order to match the revamped branding of the Telegrafas Restaurant. Drawing inspiration from the elegant interior design, we incorporated arch shapes into both logos, evoking the graceful curves of the round top arch windows, doors, and decorative mirrors that adorn the space. With this design, we aimed to capture the essence of the bar's sophisticated ambiance, transporting patrons to a world of refined luxury and understated elegance.
Menu & Card Design
We sought to capture the essence of exceptional service and an unparalleled dining experience in the menu's design. The result was a clean and ultra-minimalist aesthetic that conveys both modernity and beauty. Pairing modern serif typefaces for main headings and sans-serif for the body, we created a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look. This design language was carried over to other communication materials, including the invitation card, which mirrors the menu's sophisticated style.
